My father once said ‘‘I never knew that my daughter would be a bridge between the East and the West’’. I did not realize the significance of this sentence until much later in my life and I did not know that photography would be the medium I would use to express myself.

My work is about educating myself and others in learning about understanding, tolerance and to promote peace by bridging the gap between the two worlds I live in.
